Pulse X-ray machines

Pulse X-ray machines are lightweight - the average weight of a monoblock is 7.5 kg. They cannot regulate current and voltage, so it is easy to control pulsed devices. This is both a plus and a minus at the same time. Due to the lack of adjustments, the quality of images with pulsed devices is worse than with constant voltage. In addition, pulsed X-ray machines fail more often than devices with a constant potential at the anode. However, repairing such devices is easier and faster. All pulsed X-ray machines operate in both directional and panoramic modes.

There are 5 main series of devices competing with each other on the Russian market.

Series "ARINA".

The most popular pulse devices in Russia. The line includes models of varying power and cost, available for use by any laboratory. The series is represented by the models “Arina-1” for the crawler “Sirena-5”, “Arina-3” with voltage up to 220 kV and translucency thickness up to 30 mm, “Arina-7” with voltage up to 250 kV and translucency thickness up to 40 mm ., "Arina-9" with a voltage of up to 300 kV and an automatic shutdown function in case of overheating (continuous operation time up to 30 minutes) with a translucency thickness of up to 50 mm.

The models “Arina-5” with a voltage of 250 kV and the possibility of transillumination up to 60 mm have been discontinued. “Arina-6” is the only device in the line with constant voltage, “Arina-02M” with a maximum translucency thickness of 25 mm.

Series "PAMIR".

Two modifications of improved popular models of the ARINA series. The continuous operation time has been increased from 15 to 30 minutes, the weight of the PAMIR-200 device has been reduced to 5 kg, the battery type has been reduced to 12 V. The PAMIR-200 is translucent to 40 mm. at a voltage of 200 kV, “PAMIR-300” up to 50 mm. with a voltage of 300 kV on the tube. In the third quarter of 2015, production of an improved modification of PAMIR-300 - the PARMA X-ray machine - will begin. The device has no cables, switches on remotely, and the battery life is increased to 1 hour.

Series "ARION".

The tubes of this series of devices are manufactured gas-filled, in contrast to the oil filling of other series. Due to the gas-filled environment, the service life of the devices increases. However, repair and maintenance are more labor-intensive than oil pipes. The devices have a shutdown relay when the tube begins to overheat. The number in the name of the device indicates the voltage on the tube. The devices in the series are represented by the models “ARION-150” with a transillumination thickness of up to 30 mm, “ARION-200” with a thickness of up to 40 mm, “ARION-250” with a thickness of up to 50 mm, “ARION-300” with a thickness of up to 60 mm, “ARION-400” with a thickness of up to 80 mm and “ARION-600” with a thickness of up to 110 mm.

Series "MONOSCAN".

Manufactured in the United States of America. The line is represented by 4 models. Constant potential X-ray machines have a constant voltage across the X-ray tube. Permanent X-ray machines are more reliable and durable than pulsed ones. Repairing X-ray machines with constant voltage is more difficult and longer than with pulsed ones.
